I stayed in Baker City and had a lazy day. I went to the Oregon Trail Museum on Campbell Street. It is a very interesting museum but unfortunately I was not allowed to take any pictures inside. For Internet access I went to the public library which is in a very nice, light, and modern building. It is surprisingly big for a small city like Baker. Most shops are located on main street. I had lunch in the Chinese restaurant on Main Street but the food is not very good. The Baker City cinema shows only movies that are already out of most cinemas and will soon be available on video.

There was not much else to do in Baker so I went to a bike shop to get a helmet mirror. The bike repair shop is on 10th Street corner E Street, which is quite a walk from Main Street. The guy in there can fix about anything, but unfortunately did not have any helmet mirrors.
